| A Real Cajun Restaurant |

| Being 100% cajun, I know what real cajun food is and this is it. Anytime you can call in ahead of time for them to drop the mudbugs in to boil....because you're on your way-- that's real cajun hospitality! That's right, and it is crawfish season folks. Even though Rita and Katrina tried to mess with crawfish season, the boys at O'Cajcen always manage to come through for us diehard mudbug lovers. You guys know how to season them up just right and they go great with those longnecks you keep stocked in the upright cooler. Oh, and did I mention, they have the best fried shrimp in town! Great food, great service & great beer. What else is there??? Keep up the good work. See you again this week.
Your crawfish loving friends, Karla, Nikki & families. |

| Best Ever Catfish |

| I called ahead of time to get get driving directions. The directions were concise and easy to follow....very good overall customer service. Upon arriving the gentleman explained the different types of food since we were not familiar with cajun food. He made us feel very comfortable and was extremely hospitable. The restaurant admosphere was very comfortable.
The catfish sandwich was extremely delicious and the fries were outstanding!
Child's burger.....little over-cooked, but I understand it's probably hard to do on an open flame with thinner meat.
Otherwise, this is a restaurant my family and I will visit again when in the area and I would higher recommend it to others. |

| O'Cajcen's was highly recommended to me by a friend and my wife and I thought we'd give it a try (we have been twice in one month). Basically it's a no-nonsense cajun food resturant. The atmosphere is more like a fast food resturant but that's where the similarity ends. The resturant has a walk up counter where your order is taken and the check is paid. Seating is your choice and drinks are dispensed via self-serve soda fountain. Your order is brought to your table.
The food is excellent! The seafood gumbo is as good as any I have had, either homemade or in a resturant. The fried shrimp and catship is excellent and it is obvious that the food is fresh. The fried seafood is cooked to perfection and not overcooked in the slightest. The crawfish etouffee is also excellent.
The pricing is very reasonable, especially considering the menu is mostly seafood. 3 adults and 3 children can eat for less than $40.
I would rank O'Cajcen's food at least equal (if not better) to that of any top cajun style resturant. The only thing I'd change about the resturant is the take out the two TV's.
